Wondering What I've Been Up To?

Making Progress

The holidays are approaching, which means I not only get to go home, but I have some very exciting news to share when I do.

1) I did a super fun print shoot with an awesome company called TruBrain for their media campaign.
2) I signed with CCA for theatrical and print representation AND DPM for commercial representation.
3) I’ve started doing contract graphic design work for an amazing company called StartEngine.

I am very excited to see where these opportunities take me and what the new year will bring. I am most definitely ready to step into the next level of my career where I have people on my side to help and I am hopeful that 2020 will be even more fruitful than 2019.

Consciously Incompetent

At the moment the Silent Joy process is on a break, but luckily I get to throw myself into a new project: a webseries called Consciously Incompetent. I am so ready to get back in front of the camera after spending so much time on stage in this past year. I'm ready to jump into comedy and bring the hilarious shananigans of four lovably weird friends with a taste for pranks. Stay tuned for updates once filming is complete!

Silent Joy

Having just wrapped filming an independent short film called ‘Eyes On the Broad’, directed by Gabi Barrera-Poole, I'm super excited to have been cast as the lead in Empty Space Artistry's original play called Silent Joy, directed by Melissa Ordaz! The storyline is adapted from the graphic novel Silent Joy, written by Zach Beckert, and emboldens the audience to question how far they would go for joy. The process of working on Silent Joy has opened me up to how accessible devised theatre can be and has pushed me in ways I never expected. After a successful set of staged readings for producers and theatre lovers, I am so excited to share this project with the world when we bring it to the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June!

What Else To Look Out For

2019 has most definietly been my best year yet. Not only am I fortunate enough to experience the journey of helping create Silent Joy, but I also get to bring Laura to life in LitLive's production of The Glass Menagerie, by Tennessee Williams, with a phenomenal cast. I never thought I would get the opportunity to bring a character as iconic as Laura to life, but I am so ready for the challenge. My Laura will definitly be an exciting new take on the classic character you love!
AAAAANNNNDDDD.....
In addition to that good fortune, this month I was asked to become a Company Member at Vagrancy Theatre in LA. With Vagrancy I will be workshopping a new play by Howard Ho called Molly. I am beyond thrilled to find my home amongst this talent group of artists looking to put on new and old pieces that incite dialogues that need to be had today.

Celebrating the Start of a New Chapter

This past May I sobbed as I submitted my final paper and graduated with a BFA in Theatre Performance and a minor in Chapman University’s Honors Program….and then I went to DISNEY WORLD for Toy Story Land!! I don’t know what was more exciting…being handed my diploma or entering the gates of Magic Kingdom.

After several weeks of family fun in New York, I started the next chapter of my life post-college and moved to Los Angeles to start the grind of adulthood. Check me out at Jolie in Bel Air or in various audition rooms throughout Los Angeles! Cheers to what awaits!

Trip to Hong Kong

Post graduation I journeyed to Hong Kong for the EOS Hackathon. It was a crazy week full of new experiences and navigating sight seeing during a week full of typhoon warnings. And even though we didn’t place and couldn’t go to Disneyland Hong Kong it was one of the greatest experiences Ive ever had! Its definitely motivated me to learn how to code more and put exploring more of Asia on my bucket list!
